Decision / specificationInformation to confirm
Part variants to quote
  • Control-arm or link bracket assemblies
  • Shock-mount kits and spring-seat hardware
  • Spacer, bushing and reinforcement sets
  • Application-specific fastener and installation packs
Vehicle & installation

Exact vehicle generation and factory suspension; desired change; existing equipment and constant load; mounting dimensions; proposed materials, quantities and destination.

Dimensions, material & finish
  • Exact vehicle platform and lift configuration
  • Critical dimensions, material and hardware grade
  • Load application, testing evidence and fitment validation
Category-specific RFQ checks
  • Confirm model year, suspension type, drivetrain and factory trim.
  • Provide ride-height target, axle/tire setup and expected added mass.
  • Ask for drawings, material/heat-treatment details, testing records and sample alignment.
  • Structural and road-safety compliance must be reviewed by a qualified party.
Sample & manufacturing evidence
  • Identify the vehicle generation, axle or suspension configuration, intended lift range and other installed modifications. Note interference risks at full steering and suspension travel.
  • Ask the manufacturer for material specifications, weld or machining details, finish requirements, hardware grades where applicable, and its proposed dimensional inspection points.
  • Treat sample fitment, structural suitability and applicable road-use requirements as separate approval items. Agree who performs and documents each review.
Production & order record
  • Application & configuration: Separate vehicle version, factory suspension and the exact component or interface requested.
  • Measurements & identification: List approved dimensions, bushing or mounting details, part marking and the reviewer for technical decisions.
  • Batch consistency: Connect sample approval to component revisions, supplied hardware and the agreed inspection record.
Custom sizes or designs

Drawings for brackets, links, mounts or spacers can be discussed with potential manufacturers for fabrication or machining. We coordinate questions about material, dimensions, joints, tolerances, finish and sample stages; the responsible technical reviewer approves geometry and the validation plan.

Suspension and lift requests need more than a generic vehicle name. Changes in ride height and mounting geometry can affect handling and adjacent components, so engineering and installation assumptions must be separated from supplier claims.

Questions About This Product Category

Can a lift-component request start with the vehicle model alone?

It can start a conversation, but a useful manufacturer brief also identifies model year, trim, drive type, factory suspension and existing modifications. Describe the intended use and added equipment. Ask which part references and installation information the supplier needs before proposing a kit.

How should suspension quantities be written in an RFQ?

State whether the price is per piece, pair, axle or complete vehicle set. List the included brackets, links, fasteners and other supplied components. Identify left and right items where relevant so the sample and production quotations can be compared on the same kit basis.

What should be resolved before approving a sample?

Define the installation checks, measurements and supporting evidence with the responsible qualified reviewer. Record interference, retained functions, required adjustments and any changed hardware. Treat technical approval and the commercial decision to order as separate recorded milestones.

For general questions about quantities, drawings and project stages, see the sourcing FAQ or compare cooperation routes.
